As part of the celebration of its 50th birthday, the Penya Barcelonista de Ripollet<\/a><\/strong> (Federaci\u00f3n de Pe\u00f1as del Vall\u00e8s) organized last Sunday a new edition of the eSports tournament Pe\u00f1as F\u00fatbol Games.<\/strong> The competition, played with the EA Sports FC 24<\/strong> video game, brought together 50 boys and girls between 8 and 16 years old<\/strong> at the Cultural Center of Ripollet, where they lived morning full of excitement, fun and fair play.<\/strong> The activity had the collaboration of the Federaci\u00f3 de Penyes Barcelonistes del Vall\u00e8s and the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tournament began with a group stage that decided the pass to the round of 16, and from here on the knockout rounds followed one after the other until the final of the tournament, which raised a great expectation among all those present. Both the champion and runner-up received a commemorative plaque<\/strong> as a prize, as well as several Bar\u00e7a products.<\/strong> The presentation was made by Joan Gim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, president of the PB Ripollet and secretary of the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes. The PB Ripollet offered breakfast and drinks to all players, who also took a souvenir of their participation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commitment to eSports<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n

This is the second edition of the eSports tournament at PB Ripollet<\/strong>, after it was held in 2019, also with a great success of participation. he activity is one of the most celebrated by the younger sector of the pe\u00f1istas and cul\u00e9s in general, and has recently gained prominence<\/strong> to the agenda of supporters’ clubs of Barcelona. Recently, the PB Sant Joan Desp\u00ed<\/strong> (Federation Baix Llobregat) has organized several tournaments for the youngest, and also entities such as the PB Figar\u00f3-Montmany<\/strong>, the PB Vilamajor’s<\/strong> or the PB Llinars del Vall\u00e8s<\/strong> (Federaci\u00f3 del Vall\u00e8s), among others, have added eSports championships to their activities in recent years.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this way, and also with other proposals of a recreational, creative or educational nature, the pe\u00f1as collective is getting even closer to the youngest cul\u00e9s.<\/strong> In addition to promoting Bar\u00e7a, the objective is to inculcate the values that define this movement<\/strong> around the world, such as respect, humility and teamwork.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
