The Diada de Sant Jordi once again filled the streets with roses and books<\/strong>, and the FC Barcelona penyes movement once again added the blaugrana touch<\/strong> with their active participation in this special day. With the support of the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes<\/strong> and the respective territorial federations<\/strong>, many supporters\u2019 clubs set up their own stands in their localities where they wore Bar\u00e7a colors<\/strong> and contributed to the party with books, roses and other Bar\u00e7a items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was the case, among many others, of PB Sant Andreu de la Barca<\/a><\/strong>, the PB L\u2019Aven\u00e7 d\u2019Esplugues<\/a><\/strong>, the PB La Pulga de Castelldefels<\/a><\/strong>, the PB Gavanenca and the<\/strong><\/a> PB Cervell\u00f3<\/a><\/strong> (Fed. Baix Llobregat); the PB Les Corts <\/strong>(Fed. Barcelon\u00e8s Oest); the PB Matar\u00f3<\/a><\/strong> i la PB Premi\u00e0 de Dalt <\/a><\/strong>(Fed. Maresme); the PB Almog\u00e0vers Empord\u00e0<\/a><\/strong> (Fed. Empord\u00e0 i Catalunya Nord); thePB Som un Sentiment <\/a><\/strong>(Fed. Lleida Sud i la Franja); and the PB Olot i Comarca<\/a><\/strong> (Fed. Giron\u00e8s, Selva, Garrotxa i Pla de l\u2019Estany). The latter also gave a solidarity aspect to the Diada with the donation of 70 roses to the Hospital d’Olot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exporting the Sant Jordi Day<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the Barcelona supporters\u2019 clubs of the FCB World Federation<\/strong>, the Diada de Sant Jordi can also be experienced in various parts of the world<\/strong>. One of those who celebrated it was the PB Austin<\/a><\/strong>, in the US state of Texas, which for the second year organized a day of exchange and donation of books with all its members<\/strong>, in which roses were also present<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its part, the PB London<\/a><\/strong> was once again one of the entities participating in the Diada de Sant Jordi organized by the Delegation of the Generalitat de Catalunya in London<\/strong>. The blaugrana penya was present at the Camden market with a stall full of books, roses and other items related to FC Barcelona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another supporters\u2019 club that celebrates Sant Jordi in a special way is the PB Villabalter<\/a><\/strong> (Fed. Castilla y Le\u00f3n), that this year has organized the 5th edition of its Short Story Contest<\/strong>. With this initiative, it seeks to encourage writing among its members<\/strong>, who must be inspired and not exceed one hundred words in their stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
