The promotion of inclusive football has been consolidated as one of the major commitments of the FC Barcelona supporters\u2019 clubs movement<\/strong>, especially in recent years. Last weekend, the Penya Barcelonista Montgr\u00ed i Comarca<\/a><\/strong> (Federaci\u00f3 Empord\u00e0 i Catalunya Nord) and the Penya Blaugrana de Vallirana<\/strong><\/a> (Federaci\u00f3 Baix Llobregat) highlighted this with initiatives that demonstrated the values of respect, equality and non-discrimination defended by the blaugrana penyes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7-a-side Football Tournament in the PB Montgr\u00ed i Comarca<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n

In the case of the PB Montgr\u00ed i Comarca, it organised its 1st Inclusive 7-a-side Football Tournament <\/strong> as part of the celebration of its 50th anniversary. The competition took place in three different categories<\/strong> and had the participation of six teams: FC Barcelona Genuine<\/strong>, Girona Genuine<\/strong>, Abadessenc Pro<\/strong>, CE Mont-ras<\/strong>, Junts i Endavant de Banyoles<\/strong>, and Baix Empord\u00e0 Specials<\/strong>. The scenario was the Municipal Sports Field of Torroella de Montgr\u00ed<\/strong>, which lived a very special day during the Saturday morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by the mayor of Torroella de Montgr\u00ed, Jordi Colom\u00ed<\/strong>; the councilor of Sports, Gen\u00eds Pigem<\/strong>; the councilor of Commerce, Tourism and Fairs, D\u00fania Oliveras<\/strong>; and representatives of the Catalan Football Federation, headed by the delegate to Girona, Jordi Bonet<\/strong>. Once the tournament was over, where, beyond the winners, respect and good atmosphere among all participants prevailed<\/strong>, a fraternity meal was held at the Hotel Panorama of L\u2019Estartit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training session at PB Vallirana<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n

The other committed entity was the PB Vallirana, which last Sunday organized its 1st Inclusive Football Day at the Municipal Football Field of its locality<\/strong>. In this case, it was a training session with children, youth and adolescents of the Asdiva Association of Vallirana<\/strong>, which works for people with functional diversity<\/strong>. The day, which also collaborated with the Rugby Club Cervell\u00f3<\/strong> and the City Council of Vallirana<\/strong>, had coaches, monitors and volunteers who always accompanied the players<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Present during the event were the president of the PB Vallirana, Jordi Roca<\/strong>, along with many members of this penya, as well as the councilors of the Vallirana City Council H\u00e9ctor Mena, \u00d3scar Su\u00f1\u00e9, Mar\u00eda Mateo and Inma Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>. During the training session, a solidarity raffle was held with several gifts<\/strong>, the proceeds of which (about 300 euros) went to the work of the Association Asdiva. The PB Vallirana plans to repeat soon this initiative, which has been a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
