As usual at the end of each football season, the Penya Solera Barcelonista de Calella<\/strong><\/a> (Federaci\u00f3 de Penyes del Maresme) wanted to recognise the most promising players<\/strong>, respectively, of the men’s and women’s teams of FC Barcelona. And it does so, at the same time, by paying tribute to one of the founders of the penya, Mario Munt, and also to a former president, Joan Juan Tresserras<\/strong>. Both give their names to the awards presented.<\/p>\n\n

The best players of the season<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n

This year, the XXII Mario Munt Memorial<\/strong> for the most promising player in the men\u2019s team went to one of La Masia\u2019s most outstanding players, who this season has become one of the stars of the team: Lamine Yamal<\/strong>. In fact, in the voting <\/strong>Yamal ended up narrowly beating<\/strong> another of the great names from La Masia who has surprised everyone, Pau Cubars\u00ed<\/strong>. The award, presented by a relative of Mario Munt, was collected by Jordi Casals, president of Bar\u00e7a Atl\u00e8tic<\/strong>. In this way, Lamine Yamal joins names such as Iniesta, Bojan, Thiago, Bartra, Riqui Puig, Gavi or Marc Casad\u00f3, winners of the Mario Munt Memorial in the past.<\/p>\n\n

As for the V Joan Juan Tresserras Memorial<\/strong>, which <\/strong>has been awarded to the best Bar\u00e7a women’s player <\/strong> for the last five years, this year the PB Solera de Calella chose Caroline Graham Hansen<\/strong> as the winner. The penya has valued the Norwegian striker’s excellent contribution to a dream season that has ended with a poker of Bar\u00e7a titles<\/strong>. In this case, Xavi Puig, the director in charge of women’s football<\/strong>, received the award from the president of the PB Solera de Calella, Isidre Argel\u00e9s<\/strong>. Graham Hansen takes over from Al\u00e8xia Putellas, Aitana Bonmat\u00ed, Mapi Le\u00f3n and Marta Torrej\u00f3n, who won this award in previous editions.<\/p>\n\n

In addition to the aforementioned guests, the award ceremony was attended by Ramon Pruna<\/strong>, president of the Federaci\u00f3 de Penyes Barcelonistes del Maresme, and Marc Buch<\/strong>, mayor of Calella. Also in attendance was a large representation of members of the Penya Solera Barcelonista de Calella<\/strong>, which, with 66 years of history, is one of the longest-running supporters\u2019 clubs in the world<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
