Doing a bit of science fiction and imaginative fan clubs, we could even consider the Penya Levante-Murcia as the first “pedreta” of the current federations of fan clubs that make up the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes del FC Barcelona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Even though the supporters’ club was located in Barcelona, it already gathered, on the one hand, associates from certain territories of the State and, on the other hand, it had a very clear involvement and integration in the society which had welcomed them, this time through soccer, as this article of the Mundo Deportivo of March 6, 1930 explains<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n

For the foundation of a new supporters’ club<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n\n

From a group of Associates has born the idea of organizing a “Pe\u00f1a Deportiva”<\/strong>, with the denomination of “Penya Levante-Murcia del FC Barcelona”, integrated fear elements addicted to the club and fear those who are also “natives” of the provinces of Castell\u00f3n, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia and Albacete<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

It is formed by elements sympathetic to our “Club” to extol its glories. It will have the motto “Sport, culture and regionalism”<\/strong> and its work will highlight these three significant words. <\/p>\n\n

What attracts our attention is the language used,<\/strong> totally unthinkable nowadays with words like “elements addicted to the club”<\/strong> or “elements sympathetic to our Club to extol its glories”<\/strong>. It should also be noted the good location of the club’s headquarters<\/strong>, just off the Rambla and a few minutes from the Liceo. <\/p>\n\n

It is also worth remembering that the affection for FC Barcelona in the Pa\u00eds Valenci\u00e0 and surrounding areas may well have grown from the final of the Spanish Championship played in Valencia in the 1925\/26 season<\/strong>, where the Golden Age team, at full strength, defeated Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid 2-3 in an extra time where the great Paulino Alc\u00e1ntara<\/strong> broke the tie in an exciting and evenly matched game played on May 16, 1925.<\/p>\n\n

It should be noted that the passion for the great Bar\u00e7a of the Golden Age that season overflowed in the first leg of the 4th round of the same championship, where Bar\u00e7a won away at Real Madrid by a resounding 1-5<\/strong>, with a spectacular afternoon by Samitier<\/strong>, who scored 4 goals<\/strong>.
