Specifically, the penya organized the viewing of some video <strong>images shot in 1983 showing the precursors of the foundation of the PB Porreres<\/strong>, which would arrive a year later. Afterwards, a <strong>colloquium was held to remember these first steps of the FC Barcelona supporters\u2019 club<\/strong> and to review its four decades of history. The event gathered about <strong>80 people at the cultural center s&#8217;Escorxador in Porreres<\/strong>, and included a raffle of two tickets for the Bar\u00e7a-Legan\u00e9s among all attendees.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Participating in the event were <strong>Oscar Escoda<\/strong>, president of the Federaci\u00f3 de Penyes de les Illes Balears; <strong>Bernad\u00ed Barcel\u00f3<\/strong>, president of the PB Porreres; <strong>Antoni Martorell<\/strong>, former president of the PB Porreres; <strong>Antoni Picornell<\/strong>, former president and founding member of the penya; <strong>Miguel Rossell\u00f3<\/strong>, who ran the old headquarters of the PB Porreres; and <strong>Marta Escoda<\/strong> and <strong>Sebastia Lliteres<\/strong>, councilors and members of the Mallorcan penya. The event was also attended by the mayoress of Porreres, <strong>Francisca Mora<\/strong>, in recognition of the roots that the blaugrana penya has with her town. <strong>On November 17, the PB Porreres will celebrate the main event of its 40th anniversary<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-els-inicis-de-la-pb-porreres\"><strong>The beginnings of the PB Porreres<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n<p>The first steps of the Penya Barcelonista de Porreres <strong>date back to 1981 in the bar Can Miquel de sa Torre<\/strong>, with names like Sebasti\u00e0 <em>Terrible<\/em>, Carles Escoda, Gaspar Barcel\u00f3 <em>de sa Fonda<\/em>, Joan <em>Vila<\/em>, Jaume <em>Bou<\/em>, Toni <em>Pobler<\/em>, Mateu <em>Diego<\/em>, Toni <em>Ullons<\/em>, Miquel <em>de sa Torre<\/em>, Tomeu <em>Apotecari<\/em>, Miquel <em>Verdero<\/em>, Tomeu <em>d\u2019Alcoraia<\/em>, Xim <em>de sa Fonda<\/em> or Toni <em>Vila<\/em>, among others. Thanks to their initiative, <strong>the penya became official in 1984<\/strong>.  From watching the matches on VHS on Mondays, when football was not televised, to the first activities and trips to Camp Nou, <strong>the penya grew and consolidated as an important entity in Porreres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>After Sebasti\u00e0 <em>Terrible<\/em>, names such as \u00c1ngel Rivera, Antoni Martorell and Oscar Escoda passed through the presidency of the PB Porreres, until the current president, Bernad\u00ed Barcel\u00f3.
