The Federaci\u00f3 de Penyes Barcelonistes de les Illes Balears<\/strong> had a double celebration last weekend with the 21st anniversary of the Penya Barcelonista Els Tamarells<\/a><\/strong> and the 40th anniversary of the Penya Barcelonista de Porreres<\/a><\/strong>. They were festive and emotional events, but also with a special historical component thanks to the presence at both of them of former players Pere Valent\u00ed Mora<\/strong> and Rafael Zuvir\u00eda<\/strong>, protagonists, respectively, of the 0-5 at the Bernab\u00e9u in 1974 or the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1979<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Historical tributes at the PB Els Tamarells<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n

On the occasion of its 21st anniversary, the PB Els Tamarells<\/strong> scheduled two days of activities in which historical conferences<\/strong> played an important role. The first was \u2018Llegendaris\u2019<\/strong>, a new format offered by the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes<\/strong> and led by its vice-president Salva Torres<\/strong>. With the presence of the aforementioned Mora and Zuvir\u00eda, the talk, organized by the Young Area<\/strong> of the PB Els Tamarells, recalled the Bar\u00e7a of the 1970s<\/strong> and the milestones it achieved. The event took place at the headquarters of the PB Els Tamarells, with the presence of more than 110 people<\/strong>, who then participated in the anniversary dinner organised by the supporters\u2019 club<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The following day, it was the turn of the conference \u2018Ambaixades: La historia de les Penyes\u2019<\/strong>, also led by Salva Torres<\/strong>, together with Aksana Vayevoda<\/strong>. This session reviewed the more than 100 years of the supporters\u2019 club movement and included the presentation of the book \u201cL’Avi Joan\u201d, by Jordi Monturiol<\/strong>, about Joan Casals, \u201cL’Avi del Bar\u00e7a\u201d. Monturiol himself and the son of Joan Casals<\/strong> took part in the conversation, recalling this figure who is held in such high esteem by Bar\u00e7a fans. The president of the PB Els Tamarells, Sebasti\u00e0 Oliver<\/strong>, led the events, which were also attended by Oscar Escoda<\/strong>, president of the Federaci\u00f3 de les Illes Balears. <\/p>\n\n

End of the celebrations of the PB Porreres<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n

On the next day, many of the guests travelled to Porreres to attend the final party of the 40th anniversary of the PB Porreres<\/strong>, presided over by Bernad\u00ed Barcel\u00f3<\/strong>. Here, Pere Valent\u00ed Mora and Rafael Zuvir\u00eda also generated a good number of conversations with the attendees about the 0-5 at the Bernab\u00e9u and the Cup Winners’ Cup, in a very relaxed and festive atmosphere. There was also a tribute to one of the founders of the penya, Toni Martorell<\/strong>, who received a Lamine Yamal shirt, and tickets to see the first team were raffled among all the attendees. Porreres town councillors Marta Escoda<\/strong> and Sebasti\u00e0 Lliteres<\/strong> also took part in the event. <\/p>\n\n

This party, with a large number of members in attendance<\/strong>, is the culmination of the 40th anniversary celebrations of the PB Porreres. A month ago, the blaugrana penya organised another emotional tribute to the figures who played a leading role in its first steps<\/a> as a penya, including Toni Martorell. Thus, the PB Porreres wanted to praise its past, but also to look to the future<\/strong> with these four decades of history. <\/p>\n\n
