{"id":28950,"date":"2025-01-30T11:34:55","date_gmt":"2025-01-30T10:34:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/confederaciopenyes.cat\/the-conference-ambaixades-visits-the-pb-montgri\/"},"modified":"2025-01-30T12:20:29","modified_gmt":"2025-01-30T11:20:29","slug":"the-conference-ambaixades-visits-the-pb-montgri","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/confederaciopenyes.cat\/en\/the-conference-ambaixades-visits-the-pb-montgri\/","title":{"rendered":"The conference \u2018Ambaixades\u2019 visits the PB Montgr\u00ed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The town of Torroella de Montgr\u00ed hosted last Friday the <strong>conference &#8220;Ambaixades: La Hist\u00f2ria de les Penyes&#8221;<\/strong>, organised by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pbmontgri\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PB Montgr\u00ed i Comarca<\/a><\/strong> (Federaci\u00f3 Empord\u00e0 i Catalunya Nord) as part of its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/confederaciopenyes.cat\/en\/the-pb-ripollet-and-pb-montgri-i-comarca-celebrate-their-50th-anniversary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">50th anniversary celebrations<\/a><\/strong>. The presentation was given by <strong>Salva Torres<\/strong>, vice-president of the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes, together with <strong>Aksana Vayevoda<\/strong> on the technical side.<strong> More than 50 people<\/strong> attended the event, headed by the president of the PB Montgr\u00ed i Comarca, <strong>Joan Casas<\/strong>, and the honorary president of the entity, <strong>Josep Sullastres<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The supporters showed <strong>great interest in the history of the penyes movement<\/strong> covered in this conference and demonstrated their good level of knowledge about all related with Bar\u00e7a. On this occasion, the event wanted to pay a <strong>special tribute to Joan Casals<\/strong>, popularly known as <strong>\u201cl&#8217;Avi del Bar\u00e7a\u201d<\/strong>, so it included the presentation of the book <strong>\u201cL&#8217;Avi Joan\u201d<\/strong> by its author, <strong>Jordi Monturiol<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-llegendaris-del-basquet-a-valls\"><strong>\u2018Llegendaris del b\u00e0squet\u2019 in Valls<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n<p>In addition to the various conferences that continue to visit penyes throughout the territory, the agenda of events of the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes has a special stop<strong> this Friday in Valls<\/strong>. As part of the <strong>centenary of the Institut Jaume Huguet<\/strong>, this entity will host <strong>at 12:30 pm the event \u2018Llegendaris del b\u00e0squet\u2019<\/strong>, which will review the<strong> history of this section of FC Barcelona<\/strong> with the testimony of several of the protagonists of its most golden ages. Legendary names such as <strong>Manolo Flores, Juan Domingo \u2018Lagarto\u2019 De la Cruz and Andr\u00e9s Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong> will be present and will explain their experiences with FC Barcelona.
