The calendar of activities related to Bar\u00e7a’s historical and cultural dissemination <\/strong>is still in full swing within the penyes movement. Over the last few weeks, several organizations have hosted the \u2018Bar\u00e7a i Catalunya\u2019 conferences and presentations of books such as \u201cAmbaixades\u201d and \u2018El Contracte\u2019<\/strong>. In all these events, the attendees have been able to learn more about key events in the history of FC Barcelona and its supporters\u2019 clubs. <\/p>\n\n

\u2018Ambaixades\u2019 at PB Poblenou<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n

The most recent innovation in the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes<\/strong> commitment to the historical dissemination of the penyes movement is the publication of the book “Ambaixades. Historia de les Penyes del FC Barcelona” <\/a><\/strong>(Embassies. History of the FC Barcelona Penyes), written by Salva Torres<\/strong>, vice-president of the organization. After its premiere at the headquarters of the Confederaci\u00f3<\/a>, it was recently the PB Poblenou<\/a><\/strong> (Federaci\u00f3 Barcelon\u00e8s Est) which hosted the presentation of the publication<\/strong>, with the presence of its author. The event was held at the penya\u2019s headquarters and was also attended by other organizations such as the PB Districte XXVII La Sagrera. <\/p>\n\n

On the other hand, the \u2018Bar\u00e7a i Catalunya\u2019 cycle of conferences continues to tour the Catalan territory<\/strong> explaining the historical link between Bar\u00e7a and the Catalan society throughout its history. Recently, the talk, also led by Salva Torres<\/strong>, visited the PB Golm\u00e9s<\/strong> (Federaci\u00f3 Lleida Sud i la Franja), the PB Prats de Moll\u00f3 <\/strong>(Federaci\u00f3 Empord\u00e0 i Catalunya Nord) and the PB Guardiola de Bergued\u00e0<\/strong> (Federaci\u00f3 Bages, Bergued\u00e0 i Cerdanya), where it aroused great interest among the supporters<\/strong>. Looking ahead to the month of June, several penyes have already scheduled conferences in this cycle. <\/p>\n\n

The PB Breda presents \u2018El Contracte\u2019<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n

As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, the PB Breda<\/strong><\/a> (Federaci\u00f3 Giron\u00e8s, Selva, Garrotxa i Pla de l’Estany) also organised a literary event at its headquarters; specifically, the presentation of the book \u2018El Contracte\u2019 <\/strong>(The Contract). The author, Ramon M. Piqu\u00e9<\/strong>, gave the attendees a little bit of the story behind the arrival of Johan Cruyff at Bar\u00e7a<\/strong>, which is captured and documented in this publication. <\/p>\n\n
