After being postponed last year due to the restrictions imposed by Covid-19, the <strong>XVIII edition<\/strong> of the event organised by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.diariodeaficionesunidas.es\/diario\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aficiones Unidas<\/a><\/strong> was held normally. And did it so <strong>in the city of Almer\u00eda on 24, 25 and 26 June<\/strong>, with a successful attendance. There, local authorities met with representatives of all the attending supporters\u2019 clubs federations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The big day was Saturday 25th, when the <strong>main event of the Congress of Supporters\u2019 Clubs took place in the Municipal Auditorium of Almer\u00eda<\/strong>. There, all attendees were able to listen to a conference by <strong>Javier Tebas<\/strong>, president of the LFP, as well as the speeches of different Andalusian authorities. In addition to the president of Aficiones Unidas, <strong>Jos\u00e9 Manuel Mateos<\/strong>, the president of the Supporters\u2019 Clubs Federation of UD Almer\u00eda, <strong>M\u00f3nica Ruiz<\/strong>, also spoke as host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ruiz received a gift from the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes during the final day, on Sunday 26th. On this day, the attendees gathered at the Juegos del Mediterr\u00e1neo stadium in Almer\u00eda. All three days were completed with <strong>various cultural and leisure activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fraternity<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>The XVIII World Congress of Supporters&#8217; Clubs became, for yet another year, <strong>a space for meeting and dialogue in which human and sporting values were promoted<\/strong>, with no room for violence in sport. Values that the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes, its territorial federations and all the supporters\u2019 clubs around the world promote.
