The Penya Barcelonista de Sils<\/a><\/strong> (Federaci\u00f3 Giron\u00e8s, Selva, Garrotxa i Pla de l\u2019Estany) recently held a special event to present the trophy for the best Bar\u00e7a femen\u00ed player of the 2024\/25 season<\/strong>. This was the first edition of the award<\/strong>, and the winner was none other than the blaugrana captain: Alexia Putellas<\/strong>. The award is based on the cumulative monthly votes cast by the penya members throughout the season<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

An example of commitment and leadership<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n

The event took place at the Hostal Mallorquines restaurant, in a very emotional and Bar\u00e7a-spirited atmosphere. Among the attendees were Antoni Guil<\/strong>, president of the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes; Quim Vall-llosera<\/strong>, president of the Federaci\u00f3 Giron\u00e8s, Selva, Garrotxa y Pla de l\u2019Estany; and Ramon Cunill<\/strong>, president of PB Sils. Also present were the rest of the board members of the organising entity, as well as members of other penyes. Representing the Agrupaci\u00f3 Bar\u00e7a Jugadors was Flor de Luna Pila<\/strong>, a former Bar\u00e7a femen\u00ed player, who accepted the award on Alexia\u2019s behalf<\/strong>. Also in attendance were the mayor of Sils, Eduard Colomer<\/strong>, and several local councilors. <\/p>\n\n

During the event, PB Sils highlighted Alexia\u2019s quality, commitment, and leadership<\/strong>. The personalized trophy will remain at the supporters\u2019 club headquarters, awaiting the opportunity to be handed to the player in person at the start of the next season. With this new distinction, the penya aims to promote women\u2019s football and the ongoing support it receives from the Bar\u00e7a penyes movement<\/strong>. PB Sils also expressed gratitude for the participation and enthusiasm of all attendees, as well as the collaboration of all involved organizations. <\/p>\n\n
