Just as it happened in India and Mexico last April, the Bar\u00e7a supporters\u2019 clubs once again acted as hosts for a new appearance by the Bar\u00e7a Legends<\/strong>. This time, it was in Buenos Aires<\/strong>, where the blaugrana legends traveled to face the River Plate Leyendas team<\/strong>. It was the Legends\u2019 first visit to Argentina, and the Penya Barcelonista Nicolau Casaus de Buenos Aires <\/a><\/strong>didn\u2019t miss the chance to be part of such a special occasion for the local culers. Some members of the Penya Barcelonista de Santiago de Xile<\/a><\/strong> also made the trip, traveling from their country despite the short notice with which the match date was announced. <\/p>\n\n

Meeting with the players and support at the stadium<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n

On the morning of the match, members of PB Nicolau Casaus and PB Santiago de Xile were welcomed at the hotel where the Bar\u00e7a Legends<\/strong> were staying. The supporters had the chance to spend some time with notable names such as Albert Ferrer, Gaizka Mendieta, Frank and Ronald De Boer, Phillip Cocu, Sergi Barjuan, Giovanni da Silva, Samuel Okunowo, and Gerard L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, among others. All of them signed shirts and other Bar\u00e7a memorabilia, and even the legendary Txema Corbella presented a gift to the attending supporters<\/strong>. It was a very pleasant and emotional atmosphere for Bar\u00e7a fans. <\/p>\n\n

Afterward, PB Nicolau Casaus and PB Santiago de Xile shared the pre-match moments<\/strong>, highlighting the unity among Bar\u00e7a fans that the penyes movement promotes. In fact, the Chilean supporters emphasized the warm welcome from their Argentine counterparts<\/strong> and presented them with their penya\u2019s pennant and other commemorative items. Finally, the supporters made their way to the Estadio M\u00e2s Monumental, the venue of the match, where they couldn\u2019t celebrate a Bar\u00e7a victory but thoroughly enjoyed watching the blaugrana legends on the pitch<\/strong>. It was an unforgettable day for PB Nicolau Casaus and PB Santiago de Xile, who also strengthened the already strong ties within the South American penyes community<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n
