One of the key contributors to this day was the<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/penyabarcelonistapegueracalvia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Penya Barcelonista Peguera-Calvi\u00e0<\/a><\/strong> (Federaci\u00f3 de Penyes de les Illes Balears), which <strong>once again demonstrated its commitment to the local community<\/strong>, especially to young people and grassroots football. <\/p>\n\n<p>First, the <strong>5th edition of the PB Peguera-Calvi\u00e0 Penalty Battle<\/strong> was held with great success. This eagerly awaited sporting event brought together<strong> 24 teams in the U9, U11, and U13 categories<\/strong>. A total of <strong>72 boys and girls took part in the competition<\/strong>, enjoying an afternoon full of goals, laughter, and camaraderie, in an exceptional atmosphere with families, friends, and neighbors in attendance. The event was graced by the presence of <strong>Sebasti\u00e1n Palmer<\/strong>, president of PB Peguera-Calvi\u00e0;<strong> Benito Ferrer<\/strong>, local councilor for Peguera; and <strong>Rafa Le\u00f3n<\/strong>, head of Sports and Tourism at Calvi\u00e0365. --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1024\/768;\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-la-1a-copa-stars-un-exit-solidari\"><strong>The 1st Stars Cup: a solidarity success<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n<p>Later that day, the same venue hosted the <strong>1st Stars Cup for U11 players<\/strong>, organized by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mallorcasoccerexperience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mallorca Soccer Experience<\/a><\/strong>. This initiative, which was held in collaboration with PB Peguera-Calvi\u00e0, was created in <strong>tribute to former player Javier Dorado<\/strong>, who had strong ties to the island of Mallorca and its grassroots football, and who passed away last year. The Cup brought together<strong> 4 teams, 4 coaches, and 45 young football talents <\/strong>in a true celebration of youth sport, with a vibrant atmosphere in the stands and plenty of excitement on the pitch.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Beyond the competition, the 1st Stars Cup also had a<strong> charitable goal: to support Mario, a 10-year-old boy suffering from a rare and incurable disease<\/strong>. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and participants, <strong>a total of \u20ac717 was raised to support his family <\/strong>and contribute to research into the condition.
