As is customary at this month, the Penya Barcelonista Foment Martinenc<\/a><\/strong> (Federaci\u00f3 Barcelon\u00e8s Est) once again experienced one of its most special days of the year. The Bar\u00e7a supporters\u2019 club gathered more than a hundred people<\/strong> at its venue for an event that included the celebration of its 70th anniversary and the awards ceremony of the IX Literary Contest<\/strong> of Bar\u00e7a short stories, organized annually by the penya. <\/p>\n\n

70th anniversary with distinguished guests<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n

The 70th anniversary celebration featured many guests, with PB Foment Martinenc president \u00c0ngel P\u00e9rez<\/strong> acting as host. Attendees included Francesc Subirats, president of the Federaci\u00f3 Barcelon\u00e8s Est; Gaiet\u00e0 Garcia, president of the Federaci\u00f3 Barcelon\u00e8s Oest; Jordi Casals, president of Bar\u00e7a Atl\u00e8tic; and Pere Valent\u00ed Mora and Jordi Ferr\u00f3n, members of the Agrupaci\u00f3 Bar\u00e7a Jugadors. On an institutional level, participants included David Escud\u00e9<\/strong>, Barcelona City Council Sports Commissioner; Daniel Calvo<\/strong>, Sports Councillor for the Sant Mart\u00ed District and Councillor for Clot and Camp de l\u2019Arpa; and Alejandro L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, advisor to the Sports Department and Councillor for the Sant Mart\u00ed District. <\/p>\n\n

Also present were Joan Ram\u00f3n Bernardo<\/strong>, president of Foment Martinenc; Salvador Franco<\/strong>, president of CE J\u00fapiter; Xavier Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, leader of the \u201cImprove Camp de l\u2019Arpa\u201d platform; and journalists Jordi Mart\u00ed, Esther Fega, and Sergi Ninou<\/strong>. In addition, representatives from 16 other penyes from various federations joined PB Foment Martinenc on this special day. The celebration included lunch, speeches, a commemorative cake, gift presentations, and a comedy performance. <\/p>\n\n

Awards of the IX Literary Contest<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n

The second part of the event highlighted the winners of the IX Literary Contest of Bar\u00e7a stories organized by PB Foment Martinenc<\/strong>. This year, the first prize went to Antoni Blanchart, former president of PB Les Corts; the second to Xavier Orts, president of PB Cotlliure; and the third to C\u00e8lia Roca. The award for the best story by a penya member was given to N\u00faria Anna Salas, president of PB Tsunami Blaugrana. Additionally, the PB Foment Martinenc recognized Martina Toyos<\/strong>, designer of the commemorative magazine for the 70th anniversary. Prizes were also awarded to winners of other social activities such as the XIV Domino Championship, the IV Petanque Championship, and the I Rummikub Championship. <\/p>\n\n

Comedian Javi Gim\u00e9nez closed an event that once again filled PB Foment Martinenc\u2019s venue with Blaugrana passion<\/strong> and festive spirit. A clear demonstration that the supporters\u2019 club remains more active than ever after seven decades of history<\/strong> and faces the future full of vitality.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n
