The event, which reached its 19th edition, took place last weekend in the city of <strong>Cartagena<\/strong> and brought together <strong>around 900 fans from more than 30 Spanish teams<\/strong>. On behalf of the FC Barcelona supporters&#8217; clubs, <strong>representatives of the Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Peny<\/strong>es, as well as <strong>members of the federations of supporters&#8217; clubs from Murcia, Alicante and Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla<\/strong>, as well as others from <strong>Catalonia<\/strong>, attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Congress with Tebas in the spotlight<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>After the official reception at the Cartagena City Hall and the subsequent fraternity dinner on Friday,<strong> the main day of the XIX Congress of Supporters\u2019 Clubs of Aficiones Unidas took place on Saturday<\/strong>. With <strong>around 900 supporters\u2019 clubs\u2019 members present<\/strong>, the event was headed by the president of Aficiones Unidas, <strong>Jorge Guerrero<\/strong>, and was also attended by a <strong>prominent representation from La Liga<\/strong> led by its president, <strong>Javier Tebas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amongst other issues, <strong>the agreement for affordable ticket quotas for visiting fans in the 1st division<\/strong>, signed by 14 clubs, was presented. This initiative was promoted by <strong>Aficiones Unidas in the interests of the fans<\/strong>. The joint fight against racism in Spanish football was also highlighted. In addition, <strong>awards were presented to the supporters&#8217; federations of clubs that were champions and promoted this season<\/strong>, and the <strong>Confederaci\u00f3 Mundial de Penyes was one of the winners<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sunday, all the attendees met at the <strong>Cartagonova Stadium<\/strong>, where they had a visit and the traditional exchange of gifts with the Federation of Cartagena Supporters\u2019 Clubs, the event organiser.
