Two FC Barcelona penyes, located at the northern and southern extremes of the Catalan territory, celebrated their 40th anniversaries last weekend. These are the Penya Barcelonista de Perpinyà (Federació de Penyes Empordà i Catalunya Nord) and the Penya Barcelonista de L’Ametlla de Mar (Federació de Penyes de les Terres de l’Ebre), who brought together their members and friends to share a very special day and, at the same time, close the 2024–25 season.
Blaugrana brotherhood at PB Perpinyà
Around a hundred people took part in the fellowship lunch organized by PB Perpinyà to mark its 40th anniversary. Among the guests was Paco Martínez, a member of the Agrupació de Jugadors del FC Barcelona, as well as several members of the Federació de Penyes Empordà i Catalunya Nord. Other Barça clubs from Northern Catalonia, such as PB Prades, also joined the celebration. The event was also attended by representatives from the Perpignan City Council, led by the first deputy mayor.
Thierry Teixidor, president of PB Perpinyà, hosted the gathering and thanked everyone for attending. It was a festive event full of Barça camaraderie that not only commemorated the 40 years of PB Perpinyà but also celebrated a very successful season for the men’s first team. All members look forward to the new season with great optimism.



Festive day at PB L’Ametlla de Mar
As for PB L’Ametlla de Mar, it organized a full day of activities to commemorate its 40th anniversary. From early morning until late in the evening, the penya gathered attendees between the Fishermen’s Guild and its headquarters with various festive events, including a discussion about the history of the supporters’ club. Roger Llambrich, president of PB L’Ametlla de Mar, led the celebration, which was attended by Lluís Pérez, a member of FC Barcelona’s Social Commission, along with several Club executives.
