Aficiones Unidas renews its agreement with La Liga

The entity presented new developments in its Assembly held last weekend, with the presence of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes.

Aficiones Unidas, an entity that brings together 35 federations of supporters’ clubs from LaLiga EA Sports, LaLiga Hypermotion, 1st RFEF and 2nd RFEF, held a new Assembly last weekend with the presence of a large majority of the supporters’ clubs it represents, including the Confederació Mundial de Penyes del FC Barcelona. First, an Extraordinary Assembly was convened to approve its internal regulations. This was followed by the Ordinary Assembly, which took stock of the 2023-24 season and presented the projects and new developments for the current season. Both were attended by Antoni Guil, president of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes and vice-president of Aficiones Unidas.

Agreement with La Liga

During the report by the president of Aficiones Unidas, Jorge Guerrero, the assembly approved the annual accounts, as well as the budget for the season and the contributions to the supporters’ clubs federations. The continuity of the agreement between Aficiones Unidas and La Liga was also announced, under which the 300 ticket packages at 30 euros in the 1st Division and 20 euros in the 2nd Division will be maintained for visiting supporters. On the other hand, Aficiones Unidas will maintain its relationship with the RFEF and the CSD.

At the Assembly, the work carried out by the eight working areas of Aficiones Unidas was also presented. The Strategy area stood out, focusing on present and future projects, as well as the Interior area, responsible for the previously approved regime. On the other hand, the Security area explained its task to ensure the wellbeing of fans at matches, while the International area underlined its work in relation to continental bodies and Football Supporters Europe (FSE).

More benefits

Aficiones Unidas presented its Strategic Plan for the coming years, with those projects underway that always seek benefits for Spanish football fans. In this sense, new sponsorship agreements were announced with companies such as Iberia, OcasiónPlus and Williot. On the other hand, Aficiones Unidas reported the opening of new offices in Barcelona and Seville with the aim of continuing to provide the best service to the supporters’ clubs federations.
