During the event, an assembly of the Federación de Peñas de Castilla y León also took place

The Peña Barcelonista Cuellarana “Nicolás Casaus” celebrated its 25th anniversary last Saturday with a big event in Cuéllar (Segovia), the town where the supporters’ club was born in 1999. The events began at the Town Hall, where the mayor Carlos Fraile and the sports councilor Jonás Gómez received the blaugrana retinue. Also present were Josep Ignasi Macià, board member of the Social Area of FC Barcelona; Nicolás Pérez, president of the Federación de Peñas de Castilla y León; Enrique Magdaleno, president of the PB Cuellarana; and former FC Barcelona players Eusebio Sacristán and Juan Carlos Rodríguez. All of them underlined the role of the local penya as an ambassador of the blaugrana passion in Cuéllar.

Then, the 25th anniversary of the PB Cuellarana lived its climax with a great blaugrana party that was attended by a large number of supporters, members and FC Barcelona fans from the town and surrounding area. During the event, in which the Confederació Mundial de Penyes collaborated, there was the traditional exchange of gifts between the entities present, and there was also a raffle of Barça gifts among all the attendees. There was a great blaugrana atmosphere and the strength of the supporters’ clubs in Castilla y León was demonstrated.
