The solidarity values of the FC Barcelona penyes movement have once again become evident in different parts of the world, where the organizations are spreading their blaugrana passion while joining forces to help the neediest people. In this case, the protagonists are the Penya Blaugrana de Dakar and the Peña Familia Blaugrana de Panamá, which have once again demonstrated that social commitment and solidarity are their hallmarks.
Donation of the PB Dakar to SOS Children’s Villages
Following the roadmap set at its general assembly, the Penya Blaugrana de Dakar recently visited the SOS Children’s Villages center in its city, where their members delivered school supplies (backpacks, notebooks, pencils, pens, etc.) that will go to children at risk and vulnerable families. This donation was made thanks to the contributions of the members of the penya, with which it was possible to acquire the school supplies. In this way, the PB Dakar wanted to contribute to the educational work that SOS Children’s Villages carries out in its city, where it accompanies and advises families at risk, focusing above all on the welfare of the little ones.
The PB Familia Blaugrana de Panamá supports those affected by the floods
The Penya Familia Blaugrana de Panamá organized a joint collection of clothes and school supplies with the Boca Juniors Panama Consulate, in a new demonstration that solidarity transcends any affinity towards a club or colors. Both the blaugrana penya and the “xeneize” penya decided to join forces to help the families of Viejo Veranillo, a neighborhood in the west of Panama City that was hard hit by flooding due to heavy rains in this region. The PB Familia Blaugrana de Panamá is one of the most active at the solidarity level, with continuous initiatives in favor of the neediest people.
