The Penya Blaugrana Gavanenca (Federació Baix Llobregat) celebrated its 49th anniversary with its members, supporters and fans, in an event led by the president of the penya, Jordi Garcia, together with Vicenç Notari, president of the Federació de Penyes del Baix Llobregat. Representing the Agrupació Barça Jugadors was Paco Clos, while the Gavà City Council was represented by mayor Gemma Badia and councillor Catelijn Kerstens. Other supporters’ clubs such as PB Teixonera, PB La Pulga de Castelldefels, PB Sant Boi and PB Pep Ventura also joined the party. The most emotional moment was the presentation of a financial donation to help those affected by the DANA in the Valencian Community to the association Casa de València de Gavà, with the presence of a member of its board, Emili Mondragón.
The PB Esparreguera, with an eye on its 50th anniversary
The Penya Barcelonista Esparreguera, of the same Federació Baix Llobregat, also commemorated its 49th anniversary with the presence of many of its supporters. Its president, Joan Vendrell, was the host of a day where the highlight was the presentation by the secretary of the penya, Jordi Pinyol, of the 50th anniversary poster, which will arrive next year. The design, created by Laura Pons and Eloi Ortuño, symbolises the union between the past and the present of the penya through elements such as a shirt worn by Cruyff and a current one, as well as the combination of typographies representative of both eras. Joan Vendrell underlined that it will be a very important milestone for both the penya and the town of Esparraguera, as very few supporters’ clubs are 50 years old or more. During 2025, several events will commemorate this milestone.
44 years of the PB Anar-hi Anant
Finally, the Penya Barcelonista Anar-hi Anant of Corbera de Llobregat also brought together supporters, members and friends to celebrate its 44th anniversary. The events were led by Xavi Esteve, president of the PB Anar-hi Anant, and Cayetano Faura, member of the board of directors of the Federació Baix Llobregat. Also taking part were Salva García, member of the Agrupació Barça Jugadors, and former FC Barcelona general manager Anton Parera. The mayoress of Corbera de Llobregat, Rosa Boladeras, and the sports councillor, Félix Guadalajara, were also present. To end the day there was the traditional blowing out of the candles on the cake, and the attendees were invited to continue spreading the blaugrana passion in their town.
