Around 25 penyes from the Baix Llobregat shire gathered last Friday for a new ordinary assembly of the Federació de Penyes Barcelonistes del Baix Llobregat. The event, co-organised by this federation and the Penya Blaugrana La Pulga, chaired by Ramon Massons, was held in the town of Castelldefels and was led by the president of the Federació Baix Llobregat, Vicenç Notari, accompanied by members of his board of directors.
In the assembly, a summary was made of the activity of the entity and its penyes during the year 2024, and the closing of the accounts for that year was also presented, as well as the budget for the current year. On the other hand, the first preview was made of the events and activities planned for 2025. The 9th edition of the ‘Popular Calçotada’, which will take place on 23 March in El Prat de Llobregat on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the PB Quarta Lliga, and the IX Meeting of Penyes of Baix Llobregat, with date and venue still to be confirmed. The assembly also resolved doubts and dealt with requests from the supporters’ clubs that were present.
Participation of Joan Camprubí
This assembly of the Federació de Penyes del Baix Llobregat was attended by Joan Camprubí, leader of the platform ‘Som un Clam’. Camprubí offered his views on various aspects of FC Barcelona current affairs and listened to questions and proposals from the supporters. This presence responds to the desire of the Federació Baix Llobregat to open its assemblies to different groups of opinion from the blaugrana universe, as demonstrated last November with the participation of Marc Círia in another of its assemblies.
