The Federació de Penyes de Terres de l’Ebre held an Extraordinary General Assembly to conclude its electoral process. During the event, the minutes of the Electoral Board were read, announcing the submission of a single candidacy in this process, which was therefore declared the winner. As a result, Ramon Fibla renews his presidency for another four years and will lead the Ebre federation until 2029. Additionally, the assembly addressed current issues concerning the federation and the supporters’ clubs in the region, such as the regulation of trophy usage in various events, among other matters.
Participation of Xavier Vilajoana
The assembly of the Federació de Penyes de Terres de l’Ebre featured the notable participation of Xavier Vilajoana, who continues to visit different parts of the region to listen and share perspectives about the Club with the penyes movement. Vilajoana expressed to the supporters from Terres de l’Ebre his concern about the growing disconnection and lack of recognition from the Club towards the penyes, reminding them that these groups are the social soul of Barça fandom around the world.
Additionally, Xavier Vilajoana criticized the lack of transparency in the presentation of the Club’s financial accounts and in the management of ticketing, where members and supporters feel disadvantaged in favor of tourist revenue. He also highlighted the poor communication and delays surrounding the Espai Barça construction project. Furthermore, Vilajoana listened to the contributions of the attending supporters, sharing with them his vision of a Club model based on closeness and active participation of the entire social base.
