The Penya Blaugrana La Pulga de Castelldefels, part of the Federació de Penyes del Baix Llobregat, celebrated its 12th anniversary with an initiative different from those of recent years. The Barça supporters’ club organized a solidarity breakfast in its town, and the event was a great success with more than 70 attendees and a total of 15 penyes represented. Among those present were Jordi Murillo, president of the Federació de Penyes del Baix Llobregat; Vicenç Notari, treasurer of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes; Antonio Olmo, former FC Barcelona player; and Xavier Vilajoana, former FC Barcelona board member. They were all welcomed by Ramon Massons, president of PB La Pulga de Castelldefels, and Manuel Reyes, mayor of Castelldefels.
During the breakfast, PB La Pulga de Castelldefels announced a charitable donation to the Istea Association, which assists families with children living with autism and works for the inclusion of people with this condition. Mar Alegret, president of Istea, received the donation from Ramon Massons and expressed gratitude for the penya’s commitment to this cause. The event also featured speeches and the cutting of the commemorative cake for the penya’s 12th anniversary. Both the organizers and attendees celebrated the great success of the event, which demonstrated the strong roots of PB La Pulga in Castelldefels and the unity among Barça supporters’ clubs of Baix Llobregat.
