Last Friday, the Federació de Penyes Barcelonistes del Baix Llobregat held a new ordinary assembly, the first of 2026. On this occasion, the host entity was the Penya Culé Sant Climent, from Sant Climent de Llobregat, led by its president Albert Rodríguez. In total, representatives from 22 penyes belonging to this regional federation were present to discuss various issues for the year that has recently begun.

The assembly was chaired by Jordi Murillo, president of the Federació de Penyes del Baix Llobregat, together with the other members of the federation’s board. Among other matters, the attendees approved the federation’s financial accounts and reviewed the planned events and activities for the coming weeks. Among these, a new edition of the “Calçotada” of the Federació Baix Llobregat stands out, which will take place on March 8 in Cornellà de Llobregat, with PB Almeda as the organizer to mark its 30th anniversary.

Presence of Xavier Vilajoana

This ordinary assembly of the Federació Baix Llobregat was attended by Xavier Vilajoana, pre-candidate for the FC Barcelona presidency, who spoke once the agenda items had concluded. Vilajoana, who reviewed his career within the Club, presented his proposals to the attendees, placing special emphasis on the social area. He also listened to the viewpoints of the penyes regarding various aspects of FC Barcelona’s daily life.

Throughout the electoral process, the territorial penyes federations are opening their doors to all pre-candidates so they can present their proposals to the penyes and their members.
