The visit of the Barça Legends to Los Angeles to play a new Clásico against Real Madrid Leyendas sparked a major mobilization among the Barça penyes from the western side of North America, who did not want to miss the chance to meet some of the great blaugrana figures of recent years. Hosted by PB Los Angeles, together with PB San Diego, PB San Francisco, PB Fresno and PB Tampico Madero —the latter traveling all the way from Mexico— the groups gathered in the Californian city to enjoy a day full of emotions, passion and a strong sense of community.
Barça win and reception with the players
The day began very early, at 7 am, which was the West Coast time of the La Liga match between Barça and Levante. This did not stop several members of all the supporters’ clubs from meeting at PB Los Angeles’ usual gathering spot to watch the game together. Barça’s 3–0 win and the celebration of reclaiming the top spot in La Liga was the perfect way for the penyistes to start their day.
Then came one of the most anticipated moments: the meet&greet with the Barça Legends at the team’s hotel. There, the fans were able to share very special moments with names such as Rafa Márquez, Javier Saviola, Gaizka Mendieta, Marc Crosas and Roger García, among others. For the more veteran supporters, it was a chance to relive memories from past blaugrana eras, while younger fans had the opportunity to meet the predecessors of some of their current idols. The players thanked all the penyes for their unconditional support.

Blaugrana passion before, during and after the match
Just before the Legends Clásico kicked off, the supporters’ clubs organized a small “corteo” as they made their way to Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium. For a few moments, Barça chants and colours filled the streets of the city thanks to the energy of all the penyes. Inside the stadium, supporters painted the stands blaugrana and supported the Barça Legends from start to finish in a match that ended in a 1–1 draw.
Beyond the result, the day was truly memorable for all culers in Los Angeles, who even extended the celebration for a few more hours. Once again, the penyes showed that they stand firmly behind the blaugrana legends, and this event highlighted the strong sense of community that has formed among the supporters’ clubs across the western part of North America.
