The FC Barcelona presidential candidacy “Nosaltres,” led by Víctor Font Manté, has reaffirmed its commitment to respecting and strengthening the organizational structure of the Barça penyes movement, as established in FC Barcelona’s Statutes. This agreement was formalized in a commitment document signed yesterday afternoon by Víctor Font himself and the president of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes, Antoni Guil. The signing event was attended by numerous presidents of territorial Federations of penyes, as a show of support from the movement.
The signed commitment refers back to the same document that both parties signed in 2021, with the addition of the Penyes 2030 Project, promoted by the “Nosaltres” candidacy with the aim of consolidating the movement and continuing to project it into the future. Font assured that the means and resources will once again be provided to the federations and penyes so they can strengthen and expand their activities and projects. This will allow them to act as true embassies of Barça spirit across all territories and provide services to club members and supporters.
Presidential elections on Sunday
During the event, Antoni Guil, president of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes, who has signed this commitment exclusively with the ‘Nosaltres’ candidacy, called on all Barça members to attend the various polling stations set up this Sunday (Spotify Camp Nou, Tarragona, Girona, Lleida and Andorra) to achieve a high turnout and safeguard both the penyes movement and the democratic spirit of our Club.
