For the fourth consecutive year, the US-based Barça supporters’ clubs organized their joint trip to the city of Barcelona: the so‑called USA Penyes Barça Tour. On this occasion, nearly 50 supporters in total enjoyed a weekend packed with activities and blaugrana emotion in the city. The group, led by the president of PB Houston Culés and promoter of the initiative, Victor Valencheck, included members of PB Washington DC, PB New York, PB Las Vegas, PB San Francisco, PB Los Angeles, PB Dallas, PB Miami-Dade, and PB Phoenix, in addition to the aforementioned PB Houston Culés.
A non-stop weekend
The American supporters held an initial welcome party on Friday, before beginning two days full of activities and matches. The members of the USA Penyes Barça Tour attended the Barça femení match against Athletic Club at the Johan Cruyff Stadium; the Barça-Rayo men’s first team match at the Spotify Camp Nou; and some of them also attended the basketball “Clásico” between Barça and Real Madrid at the Palau Blaugrana.
In addition, the penyes enjoyed an official reception at the Club and visited several points of interest around the city of Barcelona. During their stay, they also strengthened ties with other supporters’ clubs such as PB Joan Gamper and PB Mataró, among others. Thus, this 4th edition of the USA Penyes Barça Tour was a resounding success and highlighted the commitment and enthusiasm shown by the Barça supporters’ clubs from United States.
