Penya Indobarça (FCB World Federation) has started the season with a clear aim of strengthening ties among the thousands of members who form part of this large Barça supporters’ club in Indonesia. During the month of September, its regional chapters Indobarça Benteng Metropolitan and Indobarça Celebes organized two member’s gatherings that highlighted the blaugrana community spirit that defines this penya.
A Barça camping trip in Bogor
At the beginning of the month, the PB Indobarça Benteng Metropolitan chapter organized its 1st Gathering of Supporters with great participation, as members from 13 other chapters of the Indonesian penya took part. The venue was Pinus Ecopark, a campsite located near the city of Bogor, south of the capital, Jakarta. There, the supporters’ club shared two days full of outdoor activities, such as hiking, various games, talks, and many shared moments that strengthened the Barça bond among them all.
The PB Indobarça Benteng Metropolitan chapter gave a very positive assessment of its 1st Gathering, where it also handed out special T-shirts, souvenirs from the gathering, and other gifts to participants. Following the success of this nature-based initiative, the organizers are already thinking about a second edition of their supporters’ gathering.
A blaugrana weekend in Palu
For its part, the PB Indobarça Celebes regional chapter also brought together a good number of members of the Indonesian organization at its 5th Indobarça Celebes Gathering, which was held in the city of Palu, in the center of the island of Sulawesi. Once again, penya members of all ages and from various chapters of the penya came together to share a weekend with plenty of outdoor activity. In this case, the main attractions were the Donggala Marine Center, where attendees enjoyed activities and games at sea, as well as a friendly football match played at night.
The PB Indobarça Celebes chapter also offered attendees several shared moments throughout the weekend, during which supporters’ club members were able to socialize and strengthen ties in a family-friendly and very blaugrana atmosphere. There were gifts and, which once again demonstrated the great passion with which Penya Indobarça experiences Barça fandom across Indonesia.
