The Federació de Penyes Barcelonistes de les Terres de l’Ebre once again demonstrated its strength within the supporters’ club movement at its 29th Meeting of Penyes. The event, which was attended by more than 200 supporters representing 33 penyes of this federation, took place in L’Ampolla on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the local blaugrana entity: the Penya Barcelonista de L’Ampolla. The acts were led by Ramon Fibla, president of the Federació Terres de l’Ebre, together with Sisco Pinyol, member of the Advisory Council in this region. The president of the PB L’Ampolla, Paco Ramírez, acted as host.
The 29th meeting of the Federació Terres de l’Ebre began with a welcome to the attendees in the Town Hall square. From there, the traditional parade of the banners of the participating supporters’ clubs began, with Pere Valentí Mora, member of the Agrupació Barça Jugadors, and members of the club’s Social Commission Lluís Perez and Jordi Brull in attendance. Later, they were joined by FC Barcelona board member Josep Ignaci Macià, who signed the Town Hall’s book of honour in the presence of the mayor of L’Ampolla, Paco Arasa.
During the day, the 29th Trobada de Penyes ties were presented to the attendees, and tribute was also paid to the founders and collaborators of the PB L’Ampolla on the occasion of the penya’s 30th anniversary. The day was full of emotion and ended with the traditional commemorative cake and speeches from the protagonists. The supporters’ clubs pledged to continue with the high level of activity that characterises the Federació de Penyes de l’Ebre, and to continue promoting the blaugrana passion in their territory.
