Recently, three Barça penyes held events to commemorate their anniversaries as members of the FC Barcelona supporters’ clubs universe. These are the Penya Barcelonista “Anar-hi Anant” from Corbera (Federació Baix Llobregat), the Penya Barcelonista Tosiria (Federación Andalucía, Ceuta y Melilla), and the Peña Palentina del FC Barcelona (Federación Castilla y León).
45 years of the “PB Anar-hi Anant”
More than 60 people attended the 45th anniversary of PB “Anar-hi Anant” in Corbera de Llobregat. The day began with a discussion on Barça’s current affairs with journalistsJoan Poquí and Marçal Lorente, along with Gaietà Faura, president of the PB L’Avenç d’Esplugues. Afterwards, the gala lunch featured Jordi Murillo, president of the Federació Baix Llobregat; Gabriel Cid, member of the Club’s social area; Antonio Olmo, former FC Barcelona player; Rosa Boladeras, mayor of Corbera de Llobregat; and Fèlix Guadalajara, sports councilor. Also present was Montserrat Escrichs, godmother of the penya and wife of Anton Parera, former Club manager.
The PB La Pulga de Castelldefels, the PB L’Avenç d’Esplugues and the PB Begues also attended an event that included a heartfelt tribute to Rafel Fisa, a board member of PB “Anar-hi Anant” who passed away a few months ago. Moreover, there were speeches, gift presentations and prize raffles among all attendees.
The PB Tosiria celebrates 19 years
Meanwhile,the PB Tosiria marked its 19th anniversary by gathering 150 supporters in a big party in its hometown, Torredonjimeno (Jaén). It was a day of Barça fellowship highlighted by the presence of José García Martínez, Club’s advisory delegate, who received a commemorative plaque for his commitment to Barça penyes in Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla. The event also included representatives from the Federación de Peñas Barcelonistas de Jaén, led by its president Manuel Soria and secretary Miguel Ángel Martínez. It was an occasion that strengthened the spirit of unity among penyes in this region and reaffirmed PB Tosiria’s commitment to Barça values.
PB Palentina concludes its 40th anniversary
Finally, the PB Palentina held a party to wrap up the events of its 40th anniversary, which have taken place throughout this year. The penya organized a joint viewing of the Barça-Athletic Club match, a snack and a dinner that brought together around 90 people, led by the penya’s president, Miguel García. During the gathering, a commemorative video of the anniversary was shown featuring various highlights from this year, and a raffle of gifts was held with the collaboration of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes. Thanks to this year’s growth, driven by its strong involvement in the Palencia region, the PB Palentina is now close to 300 members.
