Assemblies in the Federations of Vallès, Lleida Sud i la Franja, and Asturias and Cantabria

A review of the current situation in their territories was carried out, and the ongoing electoral process in the federations was also addressed. Notable presence of Xavi Vilajoana at the Vallès assembly

Last weekend, the territorial federations of Vallès, Lleida Sud i la Franja, and Asturias y Cantabria gathered their penyes in respective assemblies to review the current state of the collective and discuss the ongoing electoral process. These were meetings with strong participation from the penyes, clearly showing that the movement remains very active in the various territories where it is present.

Presence of Xavi Vilajoana in the Federació Vallès

The Federació de Penyes Barcelonistes del Vallès held its assembly in the Plenary Hall of the Montmeló Town Hall, with the Penya Blaugrana de Montmeló acting as host. Led by Antoni Guil, president of the Federació Vallès and also of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes, the meeting was attended by representatives from nearly 30 supporters’ clubs and a total of around fifty participants. The current situation was reviewed, along with past activities and those planned for the near future.

The assembly featured the notable participation of Xavier Vilajoana, who shared his views with the supporters. Vilajoana expressed concern about the lack of transparency and closeness from the Club towards its members and supporters, who are losing their voice and rights. In addition to outlining his roadmap in sports and economic matters, he advocated for increased presence of the penyes movement within the Club and emphasized the role of the Confederació. He also answered questions from the attending supporters.

Strong participation in Lleida Sud i la Franja, and Asturias and Cantabria

The Federació de Penyes Barcelonistes de Lleida Sud i la Franja held its assembly at the headquarters of PB Lleida 1970, in the capital of Segrià shire. With the vast majority of the region’s penyes represented and more than 70 attendees, the meeting was led by Claudi Bosch, president of the Federació Lleida Sud i la Franja, along with his board of directors. In addition to reviewing the current state of the Lleida federation, the supporters mainly discussed the ongoing electoral process within the entity.

Finally, the Federación de Peñas Barcelonistas de Asturias y Cantabria chose Gijón as the venue for its assembly, led by the president of the entity, Pablo Asensio. Around 30 Asturian and Cantabrian supporters’ clubs were represented at the meeting, which was attended by a total of about fifty people. In addition to addressing the current affairs of the supporters in that territory and the latest news from the Confederació Mundial de Penyes, the assembly concluded the electoral process in the Federation, with a single candidacy led by Asensio. At the end, the supporters looked forward to the upcoming Oviedo-Barça match on Thursday.
