Nearly half of Federations of penyes have concluded their electoral process

A total of 13 territorial Federations have already appointed their president for the 2025–2029 term, while the rest are expected to do so in the coming weeks

As established by the regulations of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes, and reflecting the democratic spirit of this organization, the 30 territorial Federations that are part of it are currently holding their electoral processes to choose their president for the next four years. Of these, 13 have already completed the process and appointed the person who will lead the Federation from 2025 to 2029, following approval by their respective assemblies. The remaining territorial Federations are still in the midst of their electoral process and are expected to conclude it in the coming weeks.

This electoral process is carried out in accordance with the statutes of each territorial Federation and under the regulations of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes. At all times, the process is overseen and managed by the Electoral Board, composed of two individuals appointed by the Confederació Mundial de Penyes. Additionally, the Federations have received guidance and support from the Confederació throughout the various stages of the electoral process. Once all presidents have been elected, the Penyes Council for the 2025–2029 term will also be defined.
