For the third consecutive year, the Penya Blaugrana de Dakar (FCB World Federation) mobilized to celebrate the month of Ramadan, which this year takes place from February 17 to March 19. The penya from the Senegalese capital organized the 3rd edition of the Ndogou distribution (breaking the fast), an initiative aimed at helping those who face greater difficulties in accessing food at the end of the day, as well as people who may be traveling during this time. Once again, the initiative was made possible thanks to the participation and cooperation of all members of the blaugrana organization, led by its president Mayté.
This year, PB Dakar travelled to the town of Pikine Est to distribute the food and share the breaking of the fast with some of the residents of the area. They also visited the town hall and the users of a health center in Pikine Est. In total, the members of the Senegalese penya prepared300 food batches containing a tray with spring rolls, fatayas, Chinese bread, and mini pizzas, along with a bag of pastries and a bottle of water. Coffee was also provided to accompany the meal. In this way, PB Dakar once again demonstrates the spirit of solidarity that has characterized the penya since its creation.
