The Penya Blaugrana de Faió (Federació Lleida Sud i la Franja) lived a festive and very emotional day last Friday on the occasion of the celebration of the 14th anniversary of its creation, in 2010. The FC Barcelona entity revolutionized its municipality with the organization of various activities that attracted young and old throughout the afternoon and evening, which resulted in a great success of participation.
The activity started with the cards and chess championships, which tested the participants’ strategic ability and cunning, but always marked by a good atmosphere and respect among the players. This was followed by the games for children, which brought together 30 local boys and girls. Among other activities, a painting workshop was organized, which resulted in several blaugrana themed creations. Finally, it was the turn of sports with the Tie Break Paddle tournament, which had started the day before and played its exciting final, as well as the futsal match for the youngest culers.
The 14th anniversary of the Penya Blaugrana de Faió culminated with the big final party, which gathered around 170 people. Among them, it is worth mentioning the presence of all the members of the board of directors of the penya, led by its president, Magnolia Mestre. There was a raffle of gifts and live music, and at all times there was a great Barça atmosphere. The PB Faió celebrated the success of the whole event, which demonstrated the strong roots that the blaugrana supporters’ club has in the municipality.
