PB Gent Barcelonista de Bogotá raises aid in response to floods in northern Colombia

The supporters’ club has launched a campaign to collect food, water, clothing, blankets and hygiene items for those affected by the floods in the Córdoba region

As has been shown on numerous occasions, the solidarity spirit of Barça penyes often emerges in situations that leave a large number of people affected and in urgent need of assistance. The latest example can be found in the Penya Gent Barcelonista de Bogotá (FCB World Federation), which has responded to the severe floods that have occurred in the Córdoba region, in northern Colombia. Through its social division, the supporters’ club has launched a campaign to gather aid for the affected population, which is currently estimated to exceed 250,000 people.

Specifically, PB Gent Barcelonista de Bogotá is requesting donations of non‑perishable food, bottled drinking water, clothing in good condition, personal hygiene items, and blankets and warm materials. To broaden the reach of the campaign, the organization has set up several collection points in the Colombian capital, where they are expecting contributions from anyone willing to lend a helping hand to the cause. The PB Gent Barcelonista de Bogotá will deliver these donations to the affected region with the aim of helping to mitigate the consequences of these severe floods.
