After two years without being able to do so due to the pandemic situation, FC Barcelona’s first team has returned to North American soil for its pre-season tour. And, of course, the powerful group of supporters’ clubs in the United States reacted with a mass mobilisation.
The first of them to welcome the blaugrana expedition was the Penya Barcelonista Miami-Dade (FCB World Federation). Last Sunday, the supporters’ club organised a meeting at its usual venue in Coral Gables: the 77 Sport Bar. Led by its president Maurici Lladó, over 150 members of the Penya filled the establishment and welcomed a large representation of FC Barcelona. Vice-president Juli Guiu, directors Josep Ignasi Macià, Xavier Puig and Joan Soler, and Barça Legend Juliano Belletti were all present. The children from the Barça Academy PRO in Miami also took part in the meeting.
Tonight, the members of the PB Miami-Dade will complete the party in the stands of the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. There, they will cheer on the team in their first match of the tour of the United States. The opponent will be Inter Miami.
PB Las Vegas, ready for the Clásico
Another American supporters’ club that is already on tenterhooks is Penya Blaugrana Las Vegas, who has organised a series of events for all the supporters’ clubs and culers present for the Clásico between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid to be played on Saturday in their city. On Friday afternoon, a first meeting will take place in a central Las Vegas venue, and on Saturday there will be a classic pre-match tailgate party. There will also be a fan zone next to the stadium. Other entities such as PB Los Angeles have already confirmed their participation in this great blaugrana party
