The Peña Azulgrana Tampico Madero (FCB World Federation) once again demonstrated its commitment to building community with a new activity aimed at all family members: its first Family Run. The Mexican Barça supporters’ club gathered runners of all ages at Playa Miramar, the beach of the city of Madero, to enjoy a day that promoted sports among both children and adults, while also strengthening the blaugrana spirit. The race covered a 1.6‑kilometer route along the beach sand, in a sunny and festive atmosphere.
To organize this Family Run, the PB Tampico Madero worked with various organizations and sponsors, as well as local authorities. The Municipal President of Ciudad Madero, Erasmo González, was the one who gave the official start of the event. For the youngest participants, the supporters’ club handed out FC Barcelona items such as jerseys, socks, pencil cases, stickers, and pens, while adults received prizes provided by the sponsors. The initiative was a great success and highlighted the value that the PB Tampico Madero brings to its region.
