The PB Fontalba d’Ulldemolins (Federació Tarragona Nord) experienced a day full of emotions, reunions, and Barça spirit on the occasion of its 15th anniversary. The event brought together a hundred culers in a warm and festive atmosphere, highlighting the penya’s trajectory, currently presided over by Xavi Toldrà. In addition to the members and friends of the honored penya, the event was attended by supporters’ clubs from the Federació Tarragona Nord, such as PB Sant Jaume Domènech, PB Serral, and PB Casal Barcelonista de Tarragona, as well as two penyes from the Federació Terres de l’Ebre: PB Vicenç Piera La Ràpita and PB Tivenys. All of them wanted to accompany PB Fontalba d’Ulldemolins in this celebration.
Festive atmosphere with an emotional ending
The day began with the presentation “Barça and Catalonia: The Origins of the Symbiosis,” the first part of this conference series offered by the Confederació Mundial de Penyes. The session was led by Salva Torres, vice president of the Confederation, and Xavier Gamper, grandson of the founder of FC Barcelona, and gathered around fifty people. Afterwards, the gala celebration took place, attended by Josep Borrull, president of the Federació Tarragona Nord; Pere Valentí Mora, vice president of the Agrupació Barça Jugadors; Joan Amigó, member of the Club’s Advisory Council; Sergi Méndez, mayor of Ulldemolins; and Roser Morlans, sports councilor.
The final moments of the speeches were especially moving due to the connection with the supporters’ memories, particularly during Pere Valentí Mora’s intervention. His relationship with the town, dating back to his youth, evoked memories among those present, especially when he recalled that, at just 16 years old, he had already come to play football in Ulldemolins. This detail, shared warmly by all those present, reinforced the sense of closeness and affection that permeated the entire celebration of the 15th anniversary of PB Fontalba d’Ulldemolins.
