The Confederation’s headquarters, a meeting point for fans before matches at the Spotify Camp Nou

The Barça penyes’ organization opens its doors to all culers as well as to rival supporters’ clubs, as was the case with the Unió de Penyes Mallorquinistes last Saturday

With the return of activity to the Spotify Camp Nou, the Confederació Mundial de Penyes has reopened its headquarters during every pre-match period at the stadium. Starting two hours before kick-off, the organization invites penyes members, Club members, and any Barça fan to share the moments leading up to the games at its facilities, located right in front of the Spotify Camp Nou (Arístides Maillol, 15, 1st floor). This way, Barça fans have a welcoming and convenient meeting point to warm up before the matches.

Welcoming opposing fans

Likewise, the Confederació aims to make its headquarters a point of harmony between fanbases by inviting the supporters’ clubs of visiting teams for each match. The latest example of this took place that same Saturday, when the blaugrana entity hosted the Unió de Penyes Mallorquinistes before the Barça–Mallorca match. Penya members and fans from both sides shared the pre‑match atmosphere in a friendly and respectful environment. The same occurred before the Barça–Osasuna match with the Federación de Peñas Osasunistas, and it is expected to continue in upcoming games.

This initiative by the Confederació Mundial de Penyes, which had already enjoyed great success before the start of the Camp Nou renovation works and the temporary move to Montjuïc, stems from the organization’s desire to open its doors to all Barça supporters as well as to fans from any team. As a member of Aficiones Unidas, an organization that brings together 34 supporters’ club federations from Spanish football teams, and ensure that football remains a spectacle where violence has no place.
