The Fan Club Barça Polska braves the snow at its Winter Gathering

The Polish Barça supporters’ club brought together more than 60 members for a fully winter-themed weekend filled with activities for the whole family

The Fan Club Barça Polska (FCB World Federation) celebrated once again its traditional Winter Gathering, an event through which Polish supporters kick off the year by sharing activities and strengthening the bonds within their community. The venue was the Beskidzki Raj Medical SPA Hotel, located in Zawoja in southern Poland, which hosted more than 60 supporters of all ages throughout a weekend. This year’s edition was marked by particularly demanding winter conditions, with heavy snowfall, icy roads and mandatory snow chains for access — yet none of this discouraged the participants.

The Winter Gathering also stood out for the strong presence of young supporters, as one third of the attendees were between one and 16 years old. They enjoyed a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors, always with snow as the main feature. These included walks around the hotel, sledding outings, a visit to the region’s mini‑zoo, and a climb to a scenic lookout tower, along with numerous indoor entertainment activities. All of this took place in a family-friendly, intergenerational atmosphere.

The Fan Club Barça Polska concluded the Winter Gathering with a very positive feeling, reaffirming the strength of the supporters’ club and demonstrating that its continuity among younger culers is well secured. Together, the participants managed to bring Barça colours to the snow and ice for an entire weekend. The Polish penya is already working on future initiatives aimed at further strengthening the ties among all its members.
