The Federació de Penyes del Baix Llobregat held an assembly in Cervelló with the participation of 17 penyes that are part of this territorial organization. The gathering, led by Vicenç Notari, president of the Federació Baix Llobregat; Jordi Murillo, delegate of the Advisory Council; and Andrés Castillo, president of the host Penya Blaugrana Cervelló, reviewed the season ending on June 30 and looked ahead to the present and future of the penyes movement.
During the assembly, the minutes of the previous meeting and the financial report were approved, and the current situation of the federation was analyzed. Additionally, a preview of all the events planned for the second half of 2025 was presented, with key dates set such as October 3, when the 9th Meeting of Penyes of Baix Llobregat will take place in Molins de Rei. Furthermore, clubs like PB Esparreguera and PB Gavanenca will face the new season with special enthusiasm as they celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Presence of Víctor Font
In line with the wishes of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes, the federations and FC Barcelona penyes aim to give a voice to Club representatives, platforms, opinion groups, and pre-candidates for the presidency of FC Barcelona, the second part of the assembly featured the presence of the leader of “Sí al Futur,” Víctor Font. During his speech, Font shared his views on economic, social, and sporting issues concerning Barça’s future and listened to the opinions and suggestions of the attending supporters.
Additionally, the Federació Baix Llobregat assembly conveyed its joint intention with the Confederació Mundial de Penyes to work on a shared social project. This initiative would involve platforms, opinion groups, and other entities within the Barça community to define the social future that best ensures the viability of members and supporters within the Club. Among other concerns raised by attendees were the new Grada d’Animació, season tickets subscription at Spotify Camp Nou, travel arrangements, and delegate assemblies.
