After some years of inactivity, the Penya Barcelonista Amics d’Ascó and the Penya Barcelonista d’Arnes (Federació de Penyes Terres de l’Ebre) have recently been reactivated thanks to the initiative and drive of young people committed to their community and to Barça. This renewal has already taken shape with the successful launch of the first official activities of both penyes, held with great participation in their respective towns.
1st Footpadel and Youth Futsal Tournament at PB Amics d’Ascó
The PB Amics d’Ascó organized a highly active sports weekend with its first Footpadel and Youth Futsal Tournament. The footpadel tournament featured 10 pairs of players aged 16 and over, while the futsal tournament brought together 10 teams of players aged between 8 and 15. In total, the event gathered 110 participants over two days filled with sport, camaraderie, and a great atmosphere. The new board of PB Amics d’Ascó, led by president Gerard Roigé, was fully involved throughout the weekend. At the end of the competitions, trophies were awarded to the winners and several raffles were held among attendees.

PB Arnes returns with a futsal tournament
A few kilometres from Ascó, the Penya Barcelonista d’Arnes also staged its reactivation with the organisation of a futsal tournament. Five teams took part, made up entirely of people from the town of Arnes, with the main aim of sharing a pleasant afternoon among colleagues and demonstrating the desire of the penya to revitalise the social and sporting life of the town. The following day, the PB Arnes completed the weekend with a big party on the occasion of the Joan Gamper Trophy, which was broadcast in the municipal market so that the whole town could attend
It was a first letter of introduction for the Penya Barcelonista d’Arnes, which, like the Penya Barcelonista Amics d’Ascó, is preparing for a new exciting season in which it promises to strengthen the link between Barça spirit and its territory.
