Just like the PB Paris and the PB Familia Blaugrana de Panama did recently, the blaugrana penyes continue to collect trophies in the various football tournaments between supporters’ clubs held around the world. During the last week of August, the PB Els Tamarells and the PB Palentina joined the list, facing other local supporters’ clubs as part of their respective town festivals. In both cases, the victory went to the blaugrana teams, in an atmosphere always marked by harmony and camaraderie among all participating penyes.
The PB Els Tamarells, champions for the third consecutive year
As every year, the Sant Agustí Festival in Felanitx included a tournament between the four supporters’ clubs based in this Mallorcan town. This year marked the 23rd edition of the Sant Agustí Interpenyes Tournament, and PB Els Tamarells were the clear winners, having won all their matches: 2-1 against Penya San Mamés, 6-1 against Penya Mallorquinista Cercle Recreatiu, and 6-2 against Penya Madridista Fusión Café. This competition is notable for having no referees, which emphasizes sportsmanship, coexistence, and good relations among clubs. It’s the third consecutive year that the PB Els Tamarells have won the tournament, now boasting 15 trophies in 23 editions.

The PB Palentina, dominant in the San Antolín Tournament
In the city of Palencia, the San Antolín Festival once again featured the Palencia Football Supporters’ Clubs Tournament, now in its 5th edition. The Peña Palentina del FC Barcelona participated alongside supporters’ clubs of Real Sociedad, Athletic Club, and Betis, with the culers taking the title after defeating Betis (6-4) in the final. This marks PB Palentina’s fourth win in the five editions of the tournament. Once again, respect and sportsmanship were central among all participants, who even shared a “third half” after the matches.
