The Peña Barcelonista de Marín, which belongs to the Federación de Peñas Barcelonistas Galegas, celebrated last Saturday its VIII Xantar Festeiro, a meeting with its members in which this year also commemorated the 29th anniversary of the supporters’ club. The event was attended by around 70 people and was marked by a festive and blaugrana atmosphere, even though the weather conditions were not favourable.
This VIII Xantar Festeiro was attended by Salvador Cerviño, president of the PB Marín and the Federación de Peñas Galegas; Nieves Loira, delegate of the Advisory Council in Galicia; and Manolo Tomé, member of the Agrupació de Jugadors del FC Barcelona. Miguel Angel Cruz, president of the Federación de Peñas Barcelonistas de Extremadura, did not miss it either. In addition, the good harmony with the fans of RC Celta was demonstrated once again with the participation in the event of José Méndez, president of the Federación de Peñas Celtistas, and Manuel Pastoriza, president of the Peña Celtista Ardán Celeste.
The party counted on attractions for the youngest, with several inflatables and activity monitors, and there was also the presence of a DJ who entertained musically this VIII Xantar Festeiro. All in all, the rain was not an impediment for the PB Marín to make a very successful balance of the VIII Xantar Festeiro. Both the organisers and the attendees are already looking forward to the next edition, next year.
