The PB Paris and the GPB Muro celebrate their anniversaries

The penya in the French capital commemorated 15 years of history, while the entity from the Federació Balears reached 40 years of activity.

Two Barça penyes recently gathered their members to commemorate their respective anniversaries. These are the Penya Blaugrana de Paris (FCB World Federation) and the Gran Penya Barcelonista de Muro (Federació Balears), who enjoyed two very special days celebrating the blaugrana passion that unites all their members and their belonging to such a broad and committed movement as the Barça supporters’ clubs.

15 years of PB Paris with a very special guest

The PB Paris celebrated its 15th anniversary by organising an event filled with a festive atmosphere and Barça spirit. The Parisian supporters’ club brought together 80 members and had a very special guest: former Barça player Frédéric Déhu, who wore the blaugrana shirt during the 1999–2000 season. The French centre-back joined the celebration alongside the penya members, led by president Navid Rahnamaei. They all expressed their gratitude for his presence on such an important day.

The 15th anniversary celebration included activities such as a quiz for members and a raffle with various Barça-themed prizes. Attendees also enjoyed a cocktail dinner and, overall, a great day celebrating these 15 years of Barça support in the capital of France. During this time, the entity has already become one of the most prominent due to its activity, its presence at all matches, and its support for the club’s sports sections.

The GPB Muro reaches four decades of history

Meanwhile, the GPB Muro brought together several members to celebrate a fellowship dinner marking the 40th anniversary of the supporters’ club. The event was led by the penya president Josep Miquel Aguiló and attended by former Barça player Joan Josep Estella. The mayor of Muro, Miquel Porquer, also joined the celebration. Gifts were exchanged among the guests to commemorate this milestone.

During the event, images of historic FC Barcelona players were displayed, and a prize draw was held among attendees. The evening unfolded in a very festive and pleasant atmosphere, with thanks to all guests and a strong sense of community among the supporters. The GPB Muro has become the benchmark of Barça support in its town and will continue working to remain so for many years to come.
