The PB Santa Margarida de Montbui celebrates its 11th anniversary

The supporters’ club organized a friendly match against the Penya Blanc i Blava of Igualada, and a big party with its members.

The town of Santa Margarida de Montbui experienced a very special weekend as it celebrated the 11th anniversary of its local Barça supporters’ club: the Penya Blaugrana de Santa Margarida de Montbui. With over 300 members, the penya, which belongs to the Federació Anoia, Alt Penedès i Garraf, is a true symbol of blaugrana spirit in the municipality – something clearly reflected in the strong turnout for the festivities.

Friendly match and final celebration

The PB Santa Margarida de Montbui kicked off the celebration with a gesture of goodwill, inviting the Penya Blanc i Blava d’Igualada to play a friendly futsal match. The event took place at the local school, thanks to the collaboration of the Santa Margarida de Montbui Town Council. There, culers and pericos played a match marked by fair play and a great atmosphere, with a large audience in attendance. Both penyes also shared a post-match snack, highlighting the good relationship despite their rivalry, and expressing a desire to repeat the initiative.

The following day, the PB Santa Margarida de Montbui hosted a full day of celebration at its headquarters, the Ateneu Cultural de Montbui. Around 80 members packed the venue to enjoy the party, which included activities such as a musical bingo and a raffle of various gifts from the penya and local organizations. The celebration continued into the afternoon in a very festive and Barça-loving atmosphere. The board of PB Santa Margarida de Montbui, led by its president Xavier Cantarell, expressed gratitude to all members for contributing to the success of the event.
