The involvement of Sister Lucía Caram
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Sister Lucía Caram has witnessed firsthand the consequences of this conflict on the Ukrainian population, and she has reflected this in a deeply moving documentary. “Ukraine, Resistance and Hope” takes us from the Santa Clara Convent in Manresa to the very heart of the conflict, focusing on what happens far from media spotlights. Sister Lucía shows the daily life of a people who continue to resist, the lives of children who must take shelter underground every night, the pain of displaced families, and the silent courage of those who fight without weapons. The activist expressed special gratitude to PB Vicenç Piera for organizing this screening, helping the documentary reach as many people as possible.
