As every year, the Sant Jordi Day filled the streets with roses and books, and the penyes movement was there to add a blaugrana touch to this special celebration throughout Catalunya. With the help of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes and the respective territorial Federations, many Barça penyes set up their own stands in their localities, where they wore Barça colors and contributed to the party with books, roses and other blaugrana items. They also included gifts from the penyes and took the opportunity to give information to visitors.
Among many others, this was the case of the PB La Pulga de Castelldefels and the PB Sant Andreu de la Barca (Fed. Baix Llobregat); the PB Les Corts (Fed. Barcelonès Oest); the PB Tsunami Blaugrana (Fed. Barcelonès Est); the PB Mataró and the PB Premià de Dalt (Fed. Maresme); the PB Jove de Cerdanyola (Fed. Vallès); and the PB Som un Sentiment (Fed. Lleida Sud i la Franja). Other international entities such as the PB London, the PB Santiago de Xile or the PB Los Angeles took advantage of their stay in Barcelona to participate in the festivity and show their colours.

6th Short Story Competition of the PB Villabalter
Outside the Catalan territory, one of the penyes that celebrate Sant Jordi in a special blaugrana way every year is the PB Villabalter (Fed. Castilla y León) with its Short Story Competition. This year, it has already awarded the prizes for the 6th edition of this initiative, which seeks to encourage writing and inspiration among its members, who must explain a story related to the 125th anniversary of Barça in no more than a hundred words.
