La Pobla de Lillet was the setting for the 28th Meeting of Penyes of Bages, Berguedà and Cerdanya on Saturday, 11 October. The event was organised by the Penya Barcelonista de La Pobla de Lillet, which marked the 30th anniversary of its foundation, and brought together around 250 Barça supporters for a day packed with cultural, tourist and festive activities in the Berguedà town and its surroundings. The penya received support from the Federació de Penyes del Bages, Berguedà i Cerdanya, La Pobla de Lillet Town Council, Turisme de Lillet, local businesses and Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC). The Confederació Mundial de Penyes also contributed.
In total, the 28th Meeting of Penyes of Bages, Berguedà and Cerdanya brought together representatives from 19 penyes in the region: PB Avinyó, PB Mura, PB Castellbell i el Vilar, PB Manresa, PB Sallent, PB Santpedor, PB Navarcles, PB Antoni Camps, PB L’Estany, PB Gironella, PB Guardiola de Berguedà, PB Bagà, PB Avià, PB Saldes, PB Borredà, PB Puigcerdà, PB Cercs and PB Navàs, as well as the host club, PB La Pobla de Lillet. The event was therefore a clear demonstration of the passion for Barça felt throughout these Catalan territories.

Tourist activities and fellowship lunch
The meeting began in the Town Hall square, where all participating penyes assembled before setting off on a parade through La Pobla de Lillet to the FGC railway station. There, the supporters took the train to the Artigas Gardens, designed by Antoni Gaudí and designated a Cultural Asset of Local Interest. After visiting the gardens, the blaugrana delegation returned to the town and held another parade, ending at the PB La Pobla de Lillet site. The commemorative plaque marking the penya’s 30th anniversary was then unveiled, one of the day’s most special moments.
The highlight of the 28th Meeting of Penyes of Bages, Berguedà and Cerdanya was the fellowship lunch, which included the presentation of plaques by the participating penyes and the official speeches. Another highlight was the exhibition devoted to the 30-year history of PB La Pobla de Lillet, featuring Barça shirts from 1996 to 2026 and a range of Barça memorabilia loaned by Ramon Serra, a collector and penya member. A performance by comedian “Lo Pau de Pons” and a DJ session brought the event to a close.
The 28th Meeting of Penyes of Bages, Berguedà and Cerdanya was attended by Antoni Valverde, president of the Federació del Bages, Berguedà i Cerdanya; Ricard Hernández, president of PB La Pobla de Lillet; Gabriel Cid, a member of the Club’s Social Commission; Salva Garcia Puig, a former FC Barcelona player; Abel García, Secretary General for Sport of the Government of Catalonia; and Enric Pla, mayor of La Pobla de Lillet.
