Last Saturday was a very complete day for the supporters’ clubs that traveled to London to attend the second leg of the Women’s Champions League semifinals. Giráldez’s team came back from 0-1 down at Montjuïc against Chelsea, and the penyes, along with all the Barça supporters at Stamford Bridge, celebrated in style this pass to the final, which will be held in Bilbao on Saturday 25 May.
As the host organization, Penya Blaugrana London organized a pre-match meeting in which there was a great blaugrana atmosphere. The supporters’ clubs that did not want to miss it, among others, were the PB Almogàvers (Fed. Barcelonès Oest), the PB Tsunami Blaugrana, the PB Sallent (Fed. Bages, Berguedà i Cerdanya), the PB Totes Unides Fem Força and the PB Sant Cugat (Fed. Vallès), and thePB Polska and the PB Mumbai (Fed. Món). All of them later celebrated the pass to the final in the stadium with the players.
Now, the supporters’ clubs are already preparing with great passion the trip to the final, which thanks to the proximity of the Biscayan capital, is expected to be very massive with penya members, supporters, and fans from all over the world. The PB BizkaBarça (Fed. Euskadi) will act as host and will open its premises, located a few meters from San Mames. It will be a historic day, which could be crowned with the team’s third Champions League title.
